Joan Runnheim, owner of Pathways Career Success Strategies, is among the nation's leading career professionals joining together to offer resume and cover letter writing, job search advice, and career transition assistance to individuals who have been impacted by Hurricane Katrina.

Volunteers For Careers (VFC) was originally founded by Wendy Enelow of the Career Masters Institute and Laurie Roy of the Professional Resume Writing & Research Association in response to the tragedy of 9/11. Through that initiative, more than 1,000 career experts provided their services, free of charge, to thousands of job seekers across the country. It was a monumental effort that really brought help and hope to people who truly needed it!

Now that our nation is facing another tragedy, VFC has been relaunched and expanded to again provide free resume writing, job search strategy, and career transition services to individuals who have lost their jobs as a direct result of Hurricane Katrina.
